KEMPEN ‘WE CARE FOR NATURE' HADA LABO MENANAM SEMULA POKOK HUTAN DI HUTAN SIMPAN SUNGAI BESI

Hada Labo dengan kerjasama Persatuan Pencinta Alam Malaysia (MNS) dan Watsons Malaysia, sejak dua tahun lalu telah menanam 1,400 pokok hutan di Lembah Klang sempena kempen ‘We Care for Nature’.

Kempen 'We Care for Nature' Hada Labo yang memasuki tahun ketiga pada tahun ini, berharap dapat menanam sekurang-kurangnya 1,000 anak pokok di tanah Hutan Simpan Sungai Besi seluas dua hektar dengan dana yang dikumpul melalui kempen ini.

Menurut Pengarah Eksekutif Persatuan Pencinta Alam Malaysia (MNS), I.S Shanmugaraj, persekitaran hijau kita semakin mengecil kerana kawasan semula jadi diterokai untuk memberi laluan pembangunan, pembalakan, perladangan, perumahan dan pelbagai lagi eksploitasi manusia.

“Ini telah menyebabkan bilangan habitat hidupan liar berkurangan dan menjejaskan haiwan serta memberikan ancaman kepada spesies hidupan liar serta kesan perubahan iklim lebih besar yang boleh membawa kepada peningkatan suhu,” kata Shanmugaraj.

Pengurus Besar Rohto-Mentholatum (M) Sdn Bhd, Lim Mei Yuen, berkata kempen ini adalah bertujuan untuk mewujudkan persekitaran yang mampan dengan menanam lebih banyak pokok untuk ekosistem yang seimbang dan juga untuk menawarkan hidupan liar urban sebagai perlindungan hutan pada tahun-tahun akan datang.

“Berpegang kepada janji jenama kami, hanya memberikan yang terbaik untuk kulit anda dan tiada yang lain, kami berharap niat itu dapat membantu dalam mengurangkan kesan berbahaya perubahan iklim. Dengan menanam pokok diharap agar kita dan generasi akan datang masih dapat menikmati pemberian daripada alam semula jadi kita,” tambah Lim.

Bermula dari 29 September 2022 – 30 Oktober 2022, dengan setiap pembelian Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion di cawangan Watsons seluruh negara, RM1 akan disumbangkan kepada penanaman pokok di Hutan Simpan Sungai Besi.

Finalis-finalis Mr World Malaysia 2022 telah menyertai sesi senaman bertempat di Star Fitness Aeon Big Wangsa Maju pagi tadi. Pencarian jejaka idaman Malaysia ini dianjurkan oleh Universal Music Malaysia (UM) dan Star Fitness merupakan pusat kecergasan rasmi bagi Mr World Malaysia 2022.

Sesi senaman ini merupakan salah satu aktiviti yang telah dirangka dalam penganjuran Mr World Malaysia 2022. Encik Syed Shaddad, Pengarah Urusan Star Fitness berkata “Sebagai pusat kecergasan rasmi bagi penganjuran Mr World Malaysia tahun ini, semua finalis akan diberikan akses kepada semua kelab Star Fitness di Malaysia di mana peserta-peserta ini dapat menjalani latihan senaman dan membuat persiapan menjelang pusingan akhir pertandingan yang akan diadakan pada 21 Oktober di Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.”
