Vivo to Unveil Its Third-Generation APEX 2020 On 28 February

Hi Everyone,

Vivo has recently announced to unveil its latest APEX 2020 concept phone on 28 February 2020 with its slogan – Vision Beyond. Served as one of the most anticipated devices in the industry, the APEX series has come to be known as a lineup of concept phones feature bezel-less design, high screen ratio, cutting-edge cameras, pop-up selfie camera and so forth.

With the rapid development of technology today, the smartphone market is currently in a state of oversupply. To invent or create a mobile phone with innovative technology and distinctive design has become the focus for mobile phone manufacturers. Entering a new chapter of mobile phone competition in 2020, the mobile phone manufactures have started to exert the efforts to invent innovative products based on all the research from the past years.

Continuing the bezel-less experience, vivo APEX 2020 will be featuring a 120-degree FullView Edgeless Display – providing unprecedented fusion of visual effect, touch and interaction. This could be a reference to the curvature of the glass; Vivo’s impressive NEX 3 flagship from last year featured a “waterfall display” with 88-degree curved edges. Or it could refer to the refresh rate, though that wouldn’t exactly be groundbreaking.

Moreover, the render also shows that the upcoming APEX 2020 features Continuous Optical Zoom, which allows one to zoom in (or out) on the subject in the LCD or viewfinder. This will enable you to get a closer view of the subject before taking your picture – providing better photo quality than digital zoom. That said, the launch of Continuous Optical Zoom showcases vivo’s pursuit of setting new smartphone camera standards and constant Research and Development.

Vivo APEX 2020 is expected to once again impress the public with its advance technology and revolutionary design on 28 February in Beijing, China.
