Stay “On Track” To Explore Your Style with Vivo Malaysia

Hi Everyone,

Along with the launch of the youthful and trendsetting S Series, vivo S1 Pro in 2019, vivo Malaysia has collaborated with one of the most favourite local streetwear label, TNTCO and the local music record label, Ban Huat Sdn. Bhd.

Vivo Malaysia has constantly strived to develop innovative products that catered to a diversified audience. Dedicated to youths and fashionistas, S1 Pro is more than cutting-edge technology alone, it is a remarkable smartphone concept that raises the bar for trendsetting design which empowers youth to define their unique style.

To maximise on the brands’ shared value, the campaign is themed “On Track” – in pursuit of vivo’s philosophy on exploring your style through vivo’s technology, TNTCO’s fashion and Ban Huat’s music.

“Adhering to vivo’s philosophy, to give our best to the community with vivo’s revolutionary yet budget-friendly devices. By doing so, we ensure one is able to explore, experience, grow, learn, and achieve what they truly want in the most unexpected of ways through the collaboration with TNTCO and Ban Huat,” said Mr. Mike Xu, Chief Executive Officer of vivo Malaysia.

Throughout the entire campaign – “On Track”, which was successfully garnered 2.7 million reach with over 390K Thru Play on social media. Judging from the results, it has partially improved the brands’ recognition and favourability.

While the campaign motivates youths to explore their own style, with the idea of being ‘on track’ goes well together with Vivo S1 Pro’s motto, as such vivo Malaysia was highly keen on this crossover between the leading technology company and these artists to emphasise the message to youngsters: everybody needs to take a new step every day in order to move forward in every cornerstone of life.

TNTCO, the most favourite local streetwear label

TNTCO has released the limited-edition streetwear clothing in combining the unique design of S1 Pro. As the rise of streetwear, TNTCO is catered to the young and stylish audience, while it meets the core value of vivo S1 Pro. The smartphone is more than cutting-edge technology alone, it is a remarkable smartphone concept that raises the bar for trendsetting design which empowers youth to define their unique style.

With the collaboration, TNTCO together with vivo Malaysia hosted a giveaway contest to their fans with the #vivoXTNTCO Limited Edition T-Shirt of S1 Pro – serving as a loyalty giveback reward for their fans.

To make it more exciting, they have also offered exclusive deals specifically for vivo smartphone users, where users will be able to purchase TNTCO products at a discounted price of 15% discount, with Term and Conditions apply.

Ban Huat Sdn. Bhd., the local music record label

Staying true to their motto of “Explore Your Style”, vivo Malaysia collaborated with local “cina” music label Ban Huat - consisting of talented misfits from Malaysia’s mainstream Chinese music industry - in producing worthy music titled “On Track” featuring Ban Huat’s Dato’ Maw, “Rap of China 2019” South East Asia region champion and Jay Wang, “The Coming One 2019” Top 14; which will appeal to the Malaysian Chinese market.

This collaboration between technology and music resulted in a track that reflects on modern-day attitude towards working consistently and putting in effort to achieve something more meaningful.

As part of their creative process in the planning of the music video, Dato’ Maw and Jay Wang embarked on an excursion to Penang and assimilated Vivo S1 pro during their brief getaway – this music video was directed by Rocketmob combined with a mini documentary by Case East.

“We appreciate the fact that Vivo Malaysia actually gave us full control on the creative side of the music and visual production, which is truly groundbreaking for all parties in my opinion. Additionally, this is also what truly epitomises Vivo S1 Pro’s motto: to just go with the flow and be true to yourselves without someone telling you how,” said Dato’ Maw.
